Beloved cocktail gem the Varnish is holding a disco-inspired NYE. In addition to a DJ spinning throwback tunes, your ticket includes cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits, light snacks, a midnight Champagne toast, and a French Dip sandwich (sign us up!). The Varnish, 118 E. 6th St., downtown. Party like it’s sometime between 1989 and 1993 as Saved by the Max, the Saved by the Bell-inspired pop-up diner, hosts a prom-themed New Year’s Eve Party. Bayside Prom 2019 will bring a new menu to the West Hollywood spot, with an early evening dinner followed by a late-night reception that includes a midnight champagne toast. Saved by the Max, 7100 Santa Monica BLVD #185 West Hollywood. John‘s Incredible Pizza Company will celebrate New Years Eve with special hours and celebration packages.
Each John‘s location will be open from 7:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. on December 31, 2018. The all-ages packages include all-you-can-eat pizza buffet, soft drinks, unlimited rides, and NYE accessories. Hal‘s Bar + Grill Playa Vista will be celebrating New Year’s Eve this year by offering 2 seatings of a prix fixe dinner, both including a champagne toast and live music provided by Weekend Celebrity from 6:00PM-9:00PM. Dishes include Sorell Salad, Blackened Halibut with Acorn Squash, Prime Rib with Purple Mash or Cacio e Pepe with Truffle along with a rose wine tasting from Gérard Bertrand Crémant de Limoux Rose and Ballerine Brut Etoile Rose. Hal’s Bar + Grill 12751 Millennium Drive #140, Playa Vista, CA. Located at the WaterMarke Tower in the South Park district of Downtown L.A., Faith & Flower is offering two seatings of its New Year’s Eve Tasting Menu, priced at $98 for the first seating and $135 for the second seating. The tasting menu includes osetra caviar, warm salad of roasted young carrots, seared New England sea scallop, duck confit strozzapreti pasta (second seating), mesquite grilled NY steak, whole milk mascarpone cheese (second seating), and Faith & Flower Bananas Foster. 705 W. 9th St. Los Angeles, CA.


Sea Change located inside Chez Melange is Kicking off New Year’s Eve the right way by serving a special and lively four-course, multi-choice, Prix Fixe menu in Sea Change. Dishes include Lamb Osso Buco, Chilean Sea Bass, Lamb Rack, Veal Sweetbread and Lobster Pasta, Filet Mignon and Duck Breast…a tough decision to make! Sea Change 1611 S. Named for Chef Ricardo Zarate’s mother, Rosaliné showcases classic Peruvian dishes alongside street food fare updated with a California sensibility. Zarate is serving a three-course prix fixe menu on New Year’s Eve. First course options include kampachi ceviche, veggie roasted medley, eggplant ceviche, diver scallops and pork ribs. Shared per couple, the main course options include chaufa paella, seafood chaufa paella, and vegetarian or vegan chaufa paella. For dessert, couples will share chancay con leche Peruvian cake or vegan sorbet, along with a glass of sparkling wine.
