It’s October and if you love Halloween as one of your favorite holidays, The Dark Harbor at the Queen Mary is not to be missed! You’ll encounter over 200 Monsters, Mummies & Freaks roaming around just outside as well as on board the Infamously Haunted Ship.
New for 2015: Dark Harbor’s New Maze Lullaby, showcases a story that tells the tale of the ship’s youngest spirit, Scary Mary. Did I tell you she loves to play hide and seek? A more interactive play this year is the Curse of Anubis: Paintball and Adventure, where you get let loose on a LED stationary Paintball adventure on pop up monsters and live mummies. Right in the middle of the horrifying playground is the new Side Show of Freaks and Oddities and the Side Show Bar. An up front and close encounter into the grotesque world of freaks. Grab a drink and enjoy a show. Look around for monsters, I’m sure they’ll sit next to you for a grueling good time.
As for me, the mazes here were my favorite. Some of the mazes like B340, you find out what really happned behind Stateroom 340 and tour parts of the ship not regularly open to the public, Not to be missed, The Circus maze help faces your fear with those under the Ringmasters big top! Other mazes like Deadrise, Soulmate, and the Voodoo Village are also not to be missed.
Tickets starts at $24 online. Themed nights are available such as LGBT night, KROQ night, Power 106 night. Tickets with Fast Fright lane, VIP passes, and lodging packages are also available.
