Naja’s Commemorative Festival Glass

Wednesday June 25th Naja’s Place kicked-off their annual IPA festival, with over 100 IPA’s to be featured. Hop-heads rejoiced over the fresh, malt, bitter & piney deliciousness that was being apportioned. Many of South bay’s local breweries contributed to the hop fest, which had Naja’s taps brimming with IPA’s of the session, imperial, double and triple style.

The day progressed with patrons forming a line throughout the local watering hole and kegs started to blow. Alpine Beer Company’s Hoppy birthday was the first keg to kick, being the only keg offered to the fest by this Fantastic brewery out of San Diego County. The festival featured more beers than the tap system could handle all, so each day new brews were tapped and a few selections were reserved for specific days. Stone brewing had a feature night on Friday and the much anticipated Pizza Port brews were set for taps on Saturday.

What better way to kick off you summer than with a good ol’ IPA fest on the beach. Enjoy some awesome crafted IPA’s in the sun with a cool sea breeze and the King Harbor Marina just outside the doors. Naja’s Annual IPA Festival is one that should not be passed up.
