The Sixth-Annual Pasadena PinotFest presented by one of Pasadena’s top rated Restaurants, Noir Food & Wine is highlighted by the Grand Tasting Event at the Altadena Town & Country Club. Surrounded by the scenic San Gabriel Mountains, the Altadena Town & Country Club is the ideal setting for an afternoon of sampling fine wines and gourmet goodies, while enjoying the smooth sounds of live jazz performances. Specifically, guests will have the opportunity to taste 200 wines from 100 leading wineries in California, Oregon, New Zealand & France. Several of the showcased wines are exclusive to PinotFest, and many featured wines are available for purchase at prices lower than most “tasting room” wines. Those in attendance also will be treated to top-notch noshing prepared by Noir Food & Wine and Altadena Town & Country Club.
We’ve teamed up with PinotFest to offer you a chance to WIN a PAIR of tickets to the Grand Tasting on Saturday, February 9, from 1:00-4:30pm. So many great wineries represented! It is tough to choose between Wes Hagen (Clos Pepe), Steven Dooley (Steven Ross), Dan Goldfield (Dutton-Goldfield)–all great guys that I have met before. So I will go with Peter Cargasacchi since I am a big fan of his wines, but have never met him!

I have to say that I’m most looking forward to tasting from Edna Valley, I was lucky to visit once and I had a lovely time.
