On Saturday, Oct 6th, the 3rd Annual Bam Fest returns to Santa Monica with 35-plus breweries, 4 bands, 3 galleries, open artist studios, an artist market, and gourmet food trucks. Proceeds benefit the 18th Street Arts Center in Santa Monica which provides artists from diverse ethnic and national backgrounds with affordable studio space.
This year, Bam Fest has teamed up with Martin Svab(Stone brewery & Naja’s Place) to create a superior list of breweries to participate in the event. This year’s line-up includes heavy-hitters like Stone, New Belgium and Ballast Point plus newer brewery’s on the scene such as Monkish Brewing, Surf Brewery and Cosmic Brewery. For the non-beer drinker’s there will be wine samples and home-brewed soda.
As for the art side of this great event, a dynamic installation of new work by 18th Street’s Lab Artist, Eamon Ore-Giron will be on display. Musical acts that will be performing are The Americans, Lysa Flores and East L.A. Taiko, American Bloomers and The Dustbowl Revival. Food Trucks rolling in will be Border Grill Truck, Green Truck, Nom Nom Truck , Baby’s Bad Ass Burgers and Let’s Be Frank. Fresh Brothers Pizza will also be on hand to offer samples of their delicious pizza.
